Security Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Dispatcher to join our team at Paladin Security in Edmonton City Centre. As a key member of our dispatch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, dispatching security personnel, and ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and other communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Dispatch security personnel to respond to incidents, alarms, and other security-related issues.
- Monitor CCTV systems and provide support to security personnel responding to calls.
- Provide detailed documentation of all incidents and activities in our event logs.
- Communicate with clients, tenants, and other stakeholders to provide updates and information on security-related matters.
- Manage key access and sign-in/sign-out processes for employees and contractors.
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of our dispatch center.
- Previous dispatch experience is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, tenants, and security personnel.
- Computer literacy with multiple software programs.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Objectivity and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Ability to learn and retain large amounts of information.
- Crisis management skills and ability to work in stressful situations.
- Above-average observation skills.
- Ability to follow policy and procedure.
- Dependable and professional in all job functions.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
