The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of a Spirit Halloween consignment store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability. This includes establishing and maintaining guest services, controlling expenses, and managing shrink, merchandising, inventory control, staffing, setup, pack-up, and teardown of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain guest services to ensure a positive customer experience
- Control expenses to maximize profitability
- Manage shrink, merchandising, inventory control, and staffing
- Setup, pack-up, and teardown of the store
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Flexible schedule
- Prior retail management experience
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions:
The physical demands of the job require 8+ hours of standing/walking, climbing ladders, and setting up fixtures. The store is a seasonal Spirit Halloween consignment store, and the manager will be working with Spirit Halloween merchandise. However, Spirit Halloween will not be the employer, and the manager will be employed by the independent owner and operator.
Employment Benefits:
If hired, the consignment operator will be solely responsible for employment benefits and wages. The manager will be required to follow the employment and operating policies and procedures as established by the consignment operator.
