Job Description

The Newmarket Keg Steakhouse & Bar is seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team. This role is responsible for maintaining high-quality food standards, supervising kitchen staff, and creating innovative menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Create new recipes that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Recruit and hire qualified staff to join our culinary team.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing culinary teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
