**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for promoting excellence in all maintenance activities, developing business plans, and planning/coordinating activities for plant operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Manage operations of the department by coordinating, planning, setting priorities, and following-up on maintenance activities to facilitate optimum plant performance.
    • Ensure that all relevant activities are conducted in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and good business standards.
    • Problem-solve and act as primary decision maker in department issues, including Facility, Emergency Response, Project Start Up, Engineering, and Health and Safety.
    • Provide leadership to improve health and safety performance by being a role model in safety and demonstrating due diligence through applying the corporate health & safety program elements.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least five (5) years' experience in a leadership position (maintenance and project engineering, with production experience an asset)
  • Manufacturing experience within food-related processing and high-speed packaging systems
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems, mechanical & process engineering, electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA Controls
  • Ability to effectively operate AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of sanitation requirements, as well as Dairy industry/related manufacturing knowledge
  • Strong planning, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Change management skills, conflict resolution skills

**Benefits**
