Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Stallion Semi Truck Trailer Service Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to metal fabrication and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate and efficient execution
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to precision-cut metal
  • Metal Shaping and Fabrication
    • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to create custom metal parts
    • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines
  • Equipment Maintenance and Operation
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance
    • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
  • Health and Safety
    • Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and maintaining a safe working space
    • Adhere to company health and safety protocols to prevent injuries and ensure a healthy work environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and repair
  • Language and Work Environment
    • English language proficiency required
    • Work in a 30-hour per week schedule
