About the Opportunity

The Electroneurophysiology Technologist is a key member of our team, responsible for performing and evaluating Electroencephalograph (EEG) recordings, long-term EEG Telemetry monitoring and/or Nerve Conduction Studies and Somatosensory Evoked Potentials. This role requires minimal direction and collaboration with the manager, program coordinator, and medical directors.

The successful candidate will be skilled in all techniques required for electroneurophysiology testing, with knowledge of normal neurophysiology, anatomy, and pathological states. Proficiency in recording and analysis of both surface and invasive EEG recording is essential. Familiarity with Natus Neuroworks EEG recording system and/or the Mayo Clinic protocols for nerve conduction studies is considered an asset.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent required
  • Registration or eligibility with the Board of Registration of Electromyography Technologists of Canada (BRETC) and/or the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalography Technologists (CBRET)
  • Proficient in all techniques required for electroneurophysiology testing
  • Knowledge of normal neurophysiology, anatomy, and pathological states
  • Skilled in the recording and analysis of both surface and invasive EEG recording
  • Familiarity with Natus Neuroworks EEG recording system and/or the Mayo Clinic protocols for nerve conduction studies considered an asset
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent-full time position, 100% FTE, 75 hours biweekly. The hourly rate is $28.97 - $35.27. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
