Machining Specialist

Aptech Precision Machining Inc is seeking a skilled Machining Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing machine tools and parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and assembling components with high precision.
About the Role- This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and precision.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to plan and execute machining tasks.
- Assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance using conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments and document any deviations from specifications.
- Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet changing production requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
