About the Job

LA MARQUEZA MEXICAN FOODS is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Financial Management
    • Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to boost profits
    • Determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, and kitchen supplies
  • Operations Management
    • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
    • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Staff Management
    • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns
    • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience
    • 2-3 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
    • Criminal record check and reference required
Work Environment
