We are seeking a highly skilled Sous-chef to join our team at Las Fronteras Inc. as an Executive Chef Team Lead specializing in Latin American cuisine.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate food and supply costs, maintain accurate records, and ensure efficient inventory management.

• Supervise specialist chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

• Develop new recipes, train staff on cooking techniques, and implement innovative menu ideas.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized menus for events such as weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.

• Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants, ensuring quality standards are met.

• Prepare dishes for customers with dietary restrictions, prioritizing their needs and preferences.

• Train staff on food safety, handling, and presentation, maintaining the highest level of quality.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience cooking in Latin American cuisine.

• Certificate/Diploma in Cooking or Gastronomy required.

• Proficient in Spanish, English not required.

Compensation:

$34.07/hour, working 30 hours/week including weekends, offering a competitive hourly rate for experienced professionals.
