Sales Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at 14866321 Canada Inc. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and overseeing the sales process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales workers are assigned to duties that align with their skills and strengths.
  • Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and ensure that it is delivered to the store in a timely manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for sales workers and ensure that they are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers and ensure that all sales are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that merchandise is always available for sale.
  • Supervise Workers: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage Cash: Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Sales Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
