Production Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team at ARCTIC LABOUR CONTRACTING LTD. in a meat processing and packing plant environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure food safety and handling practices are followed at all times
- Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and physically demanding conditions. The work site environment includes odours, cold/refrigerated temperatures, and wet/damp conditions.
Requirements- Own transportation or ability to use transportation supplied to and from work
- Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles required
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Experience in a similar role or industry
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and team player
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment
