About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Clearwater Structures Inc. as a Diesel Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units, and perform tests to identify the root cause.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts and Components: Use your expertise to adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including diesel engines and standard transmissions.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Provide accurate estimates for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete Reports: Record problems and work performed in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Area of Specialization: Diesel engines and standard transmissions.
