Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at the Canadian Medical Association. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring seamless logistics and exceptional attendee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate event planning, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and room orientations
  • Prepare budget estimates for vendor costs and monitor invoices
  • Manage meeting registrations and coordinate logistics
  • Book rooms and provide hybrid support for larger conferences and virtual events

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning or a related field
  • Event management education or equivalent combination of work experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
