Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a stable structure.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to prevent damage.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
