Job Summary

Sky High Plumbing and Heating Ltd is seeking a skilled plumber to join our team. As a plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervise other workers on plumbing projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the plumbing trade.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and various locations.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and overtime requirements. The candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
