Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Centurion Trucking Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Load and unload goods at various locations.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logbooks and inspection reports.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid passport.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity licence check.
  • Drug test.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with varying weather conditions and road conditions. You will be required to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and may be away from home for extended periods.
