Construction Site Technician

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Technician to join our team at MWI Silo Systems (2009) Inc. This is a permanent full-time position.
Job Summary:The Construction Site Technician will be responsible for assisting in the construction of various silos and grain handling equipment. This includes load, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
Responsibilities:- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- Level earth to fine grade specifications
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Work site environment: Outdoors, heights, noisy, dangerous, dusty
- Work setting: Various locations
- Tasks: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail
- Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses paid by employer
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
- Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Personal suitability: Accurate, client focus, reliability, team player, organized
- Experience: Will train
- Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (based on location and experience)
- Benefits: Transportation provided by employer, flexible hours (30-50 hours/week), English language work environment
