Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead complex building systems projects, focusing on Net Zero and Sustainability. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing design and project management for healthcare, laboratory, and other large-scale building projects, with a strong emphasis on net-zero carbon strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement net-zero and low-carbon building solutions that meet industry standards and environmental goals.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and upholding quality standards.
- Act as the primary client contact, guiding them through project requirements, updates, and milestones, while providing expert advice on sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, to coordinate project requirements and implement best practices.
- Apply expertise in HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems, ensuring designs are both effective and sustainable.
Requirements:
- Must obtain Professional Engineering (PEng) licensure.
- Demonstrated experience with net-zero and low-carbon building projects is essential.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting engineering, with specific knowledge in HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems for buildings.
- A proven track record of managing client-facing projects, from planning through to final completion.
- Healthcare and Laboratory Experience is preferred but not required.
