Lindsay Cleaners and Dyers is seeking a skilled Route Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Route Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of messages, parcels, and other items by hand.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for career growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. You will also provide excellent customer service, accept payments or invoices for items delivered, and receive and relay information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Payment and Invoicing: Accept payments or invoices for items delivered, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication throughout the day.
  • Record-Keeping: Keep accurate records of items received and delivered, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel and may involve working in varying weather conditions. You will need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs). A reliable vehicle is also required for this position.
