We are seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy and Community Impact (Hybrid) to lead and evolve our Corporate Purpose, Community Impact and Events strategy. Your enthusiasm to bring community impact to life enables BCAA to be one of the most trusted organizations in British Columbia.
Your Role
- You will drive the Purpose and Community Impact agenda, collaborating with all areas of the business, including the executive team, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders to ensure the Purpose is at the forefront of all we do.
- You will act as an expert in social impact best practices in the areas of People, Planet, Profit and Governance.
- You will support other community impact initiatives, including the Child Passenger Safety program (CPS) and School Safety Patrol (SSP).
- You will lead a high-functioning team to support BCAA's aspiration to become a truly Purpose-led organization.
Your Background
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or related experience in marketing, corporate social responsibility, and events.
- You have at least five years' direct experience in a social impact, communications, business intelligence or community leadership position.
- You possess exceptional creative thinking and writing skills, with a natural ability to establish effective working relationships.
- You are a thought leader and effective communicator, able to mentor and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Bonus qualifications include experience in public relations and acting as a corporate spokesperson.
