At Irving Equipment Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our operations and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the financial performance of the business, driving revenue growth, managing costs, and optimizing profitability while ensuring adherence to budgetary targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development, providing mentorship, training, and support to cultivate a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate effectively with union representatives to maintain positive labour relations, negotiate contracts, and address any labour-related issues in a constructive and fair manner.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with a professional designation. An MBA is considered a strong asset.
  • Commercial experience with large industrial customers.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing financial requirements, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Building and fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Financial acumen with a track record of driving profitability and managing budgets effectively.
  • Must prioritize a culture of health, safety, quality, and operational excellence.
