We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Designer to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing project work from inception through planning, design, and construction.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage assigned project work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Prepare drawings and schematics, coordinating with other disciplines to ensure drawing integrity and completeness
  • Work collaboratively with the project team and Project Manager to ensure on-time project delivery
  • Escalate resource issues to the appropriate Project Manager
  • Review architectural and structural drawings, providing technical input as required
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and respond to technical inquiries
  • Provide technical and administrative support throughout all project phases
  • Foster strong client relationships and strive for quality and timely delivery of finished products

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Academic training related to mechanical building systems is preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit, with experience in developing construction documents
  • Experience with HVAC and Plumbing Systems
  • Familiarity with bid and tendering processes
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with customers and clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
