Dealer Operations Manager

About the Role
The Changeover Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Changeover lifecycle. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that Changeovers meet the highest standards of being factual, fair, and frictionless.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Changeover lifecycle through process improvements.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives for operational excellence and capacity enhancement through modernization.
- Lead a team of Dealer Changeover Asset Analysts and Consultants to execute the Dealer Changeover process nationally.
- Oversee the transfer of multi-million dollar business transactions between Dealers.
- Research new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
- Mediate and resolve unresolved matters between the participants of the transaction within the confines of the Changeover policy.
- Facilitate the Finalization process involving existing and retiring Dealers.
- Uphold a strong integrity of asset listing accuracy for every Changeover.
- Provide advice and education to Dealers throughout the Changeover process.
- Support and coordinate with various cross-functional departments.
- Coordinate the Changeover schedule with third-party vendors.
- Work collaboratively with the CTDA and Dealer Changeover Committee.
- Exercise informative, data-driven decision-making authority, with the sole avenue for appeal being the Dealer Changeover Committee.
- Provide strong people leadership and development, while ensuring budget management processes are followed.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of team leadership experience.
- A reputation for sound judgement and integrity with strong mediation abilities.
- Experience in process design and change-management implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Team building, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Detail-oriented & strategic thinking processes.
- Previous working roles that involve the Dealer/franchisee network.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Travel will be required across Canada.
