About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train meat department staff to ensure excellent customer service and product quality
- Assist the Meat Manager with scheduling, inventory management, and ordering
- Ensure that all meat products are displayed and merchandised to meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in a meat department or retail environment
- Strong knowledge of meat products and cutting techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
