Career Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Risk Management Actuary to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead pricing analysis and develop operational knowledge in areas such as underwriting, product development, and claims processing.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead pricing analysis to ensure compliance with Accepted Actuarial Practice in Canada.
  2. Supervise junior team members and provide peer review of their work.
  3. Author reports highlighting critical issues and required actions.
  4. Communicate complex technical results to key internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Develop and lead large projects.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in actuarial work areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of the insurance landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and exposure to Python, SQL, R, VBA, PySpark, and SAS.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, depending on experience.
