Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at YMCA.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure adequate resource allocation.
  • Provide employee assistance and counselling services to support staff well-being.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants to ensure a strong candidate pool.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Review candidate inventories to select the best fit for each role.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and build relationships.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to secure talented new hires.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates fairly and consistently.
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers to successful candidates.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and ADP software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
