Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at the Union of Ontario Indians. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a diverse and inclusive candidate pool
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to promote a safe and healthy workplace
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with management to resolve employee relations issues and improve workplace communication
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and human resources software
