Key Responsibilities:- Implement new administrative procedures to optimize office efficiency.
- Review and evaluate administrative procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and budgetary controls.
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Train staff members to improve their administrative skills.
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
- Resolve conflict situations in a professional and timely manner.
- Commission systems and components to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures.
- Supervise 1-2 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Require proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Public transportation is available, and the work environment is dynamic with tight deadlines, attention to detail, and a large workload.
- Permanent position with 32-40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
