Design and Drafting Professional

We are seeking a skilled Design and Drafting Professional to join our team at Reinbold Engineering Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development of our projects.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Develop and prepare design sketches
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Write technical reports
  • Write specifications
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with client, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • AutoCAD Certification
  • Drafting (Architectural) Trade Certification
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association
  • Manual drafting, free-hand drafting, shop drawings, detailing drafting, and presentation drawings
  • Intranet, internet, project management software, image editing software, and MS Office
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, sound discrimination, sitting, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods
  • Excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, organized, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
