About the Role

Astellas is undergoing a transformation to deliver value for our patients, and we're seeking a talented Data Warehouse Architect to join our FoundationX team. As a key member of our digital transformation initiative, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our data architecture and analytics strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build high-performance, adaptable data warehouse solutions that align with business goals
  • Integrate technical functionality seamlessly across modern platforms
  • Adhere to and define technical principles, vision, and standards for the data warehouse that are aligned with agile practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Provide Level 3 and 4 Technical Support to internal users, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring system uptime
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize performance, security, and maintainability of existing data and platform architecture
  • Participate in the continuous delivery pipeline, adhering to DevOps best practices for version control, automation, and deployment
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing and building high-performance data warehouse solutions
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles and machine learning concepts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
