We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations or treatments, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' condition, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, utilizing your expertise and judgment to provide effective care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Deliver immunization programs, ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.
- Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations.
- Provide nursing care, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care.
- CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are essential for this role.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities is required.
- Area of specialization in emergency room, mental health, or surgery is an asset.
