Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, dispensing medications accurately and timely, and ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs
  • Counsel patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacist's license are required
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism are essential
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system, is a definite asset

Hiring Range: $41.10 - $68.10 per hour. A candidate's experience and knowledge, as well as the geographical region in which the position is located, may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
