We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team at Smileworx Dental as a Dental Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring our clinic is well-stocked and efficient.
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of dental procedures performed on patients, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, promoting healthy habits and a positive patient experience.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff.
- College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate patients on oral health.
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a positive and professional attitude.
