At Watson Motor INN, we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This permanent position requires 30-40 hours of work per week.

  • About the Role:
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, including determining food portion sizes and costs, cooking complete meals and individual dishes, and preparing special meals for customers with allergies.
    • In addition, the Executive Chef will inspect food service areas, clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure customer safety.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Cooking and Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that meet customer demands and preferences, while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, adherence to health and safety protocols, and maintenance of a clean and organized workspace.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
    • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback, and implementing improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Requirements and Qualifications:
    • Education: Completion of a culinary arts program or equivalent experience.
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a head chef or senior chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, knowledge of kitchen operations, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Benefits:
