Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Paul's Bakery Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for leading our pastry team and overseeing the production of high-quality pastries and desserts. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the pastry team to ensure high-quality products and efficient production.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to meet customer demands.
  • Estimate and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels.
  • Supervise and train pastry staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Plan and execute special events and promotions, including weddings, corporate events, and holiday celebrations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a pastry chef or in a related role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of pastry arts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and develop pastry staff.
