Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Osmows. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
