At 30 Forensic Engineering, we're looking for a skilled Proposal Coordinator to join our team in Toronto, ON.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, with opportunities for annual bonuses and flexible hours.

The successful candidate will support our Transportation and Safety team by leading the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals for public sector opportunities. This includes municipal clients, provincial and federal ministries, and transit agencies.

The role involves:

  • Proactively researching potential public and private sector opportunities and facilitating the registration process on all bid and tender e-procurement portals/platforms.
  • Leading proposal development efforts and coordination with the proposal managers and proposal team.
  • Managing the proposal response effort, including coordinating necessary proposal meetings and acting as the central point of communication for the proposal response team, including subconsultants/partners.
  • Understanding and applying proposal development processes and methodologies.
  • Working closely with technical teams to develop proposal material, including illustrations, organization charts, process flows, and Gantt charts/schedule.
  • Ensuring RFP compliance, developing a proposal outline document, contributing/drafting standard proposal sections, facilitating proposal reviews, identifying gaps within draft responses, and performing quality control on final documents.
  • Providing support for proposal development efforts, including formatting documents, creating templates, and submitting proposals on bid and tender portals/platforms.
  • Managing and updating an internal proposal database and working closely with marketing and other proposal/technical writing teams to ensure all relevant information, opportunity details, and proposal documents/files are recorded and accessible through appropriate information management systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, along with over years of experience in proposal development, preferably in an engineering consulting firm. Strong English language and writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to proofread and edit material are essential. The successful candidate will also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals and set priorities within a demanding deadline-driven environment.
