Job Summary

Hakka Khazana is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our restaurant team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
  • Client-focused and team-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
