Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Horizon Landscape Contractors Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient project completion
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and planting
  • Estimate labour and materials for projects, ensuring budgetary compliance
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including project timelines and budgets
  • Tender and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient project completion
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
