Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

Chansu Lim is seeking a reliable and experienced Home Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging their growth and learning.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Reliability and trustworthiness are essential for this role, as you will be responsible for the care and well-being of children.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with parents and other caregivers.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, as the needs of the children and the household may change.
Working Conditions:
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Employer's home.
Language:
  • English is the primary language spoken in the home.
Work Schedule:
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
