Program Manager for Low Carbon and On-Street Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our Low Carbon and On-Street Infrastructure program. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of sustainable and safe public transit solutions for residents across BC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing capital projects related to fixed asset infrastructure, including rapid bus/transit priority, park and rides, exchanges, low carbon transit operations and maintenance facility retrofits, and bus stop/station projects.
This role requires strong leadership skills, effective project management, and the ability to collaborate with leaders across the organization to continuously improve and develop the program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement transit supportive infrastructure projects
- Assist with the development of the Long Term Capital Plan
- Identify and plan future program area projects
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to ensure program success
- Direct, manage, and mentor internal project management staff
- PMP Designation
- Experience as a Senior Project or Program Manager
- Professional engineer registered in British Columbia (asset)
- Previous experience as a Project or Program Manager within government or other large agency
- Effective leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models, financial management, building codes, contract law, and relevant legislation in British Columbia
- Civil construction experience is an asset
- Strong computer skills including MS Project, Word, and Excel
