As a Financial Analyst for the Financial Planning & Analysis team at Points, you will be responsible for forecasting and analysis, and developing models that support the Points business unit. You will help identify and analyze new growth opportunities beyond existing approaches to further improve the business and sustain profitable growth.

We're looking for a candidate with high attention to detail, an analytical thought process, and exceptional problem-solving skills. As the Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Support financial performance of Platform Partnerships
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Support process on business reviews and stakeholder communications, including collaborating across the organization to capture progress against the business plan, key updates on priorities, risks, and opportunities
  • Model and streamline all new opportunities for platform partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models consider downstream impacts
  • Analyze partner data and performance to identify trends
  • Support the business in building business cases, financial models, and opportunity sizing
  • Support sales team in RFP preparation and pricing
  • Identify new revenue opportunities from new loyalty programs
  • Conduct extensive research of loyalty program rules, program size, and loyalty member demographics
  • Analyze reward currency values and dynamics of customer behavior specific to loyalty programs
  • Work closely with the sales team on pipeline management in Salesforce and Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Assist in the creation of new financial models for new products
  • Assist in the annual Corporate planning process with the required business analysis
  • Ad-Hoc analysis as required

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 3+ years of experience in similar roles
  • CMA/CPA-CMA preferred
  • Travel and/or ecommerce experience is preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and make actionable recommendations with minimum direction
  • Results oriented with a sense of urgency
  • Customer oriented, strives to exceed internal and external customer expectations
  • Clear, consistent and reliable communicator
  • Advanced excel skills required
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible and can handle change in a positive fashion
  • Conscientious about integrity, social responsibility and respect
