Job Title: Personal Care Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Heffermans Guest Home. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to residents with varying levels of mobility and dexterity.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including their living areas and common spaces.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning.
  • Participate in recreational activities and social events to promote residents' mental and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the nursing staff to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
  • Tuberculosis test.
  • Own vehicle.
Working Conditions:
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
