Project Engineer Opportunity

At Addie Staffing (Addy Global Solutions), we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Markham, ON. This is a full-time opportunity with a contract-to-permanent duration.

Job Details:

  • Position: Project Engineer
  • City: Markham, ON
  • Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop efficient and cost-effective proposals, projects, and solutions.
  2. Prepare project proposals and estimate labor and equipment budgets.
  3. Define project engineering scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.
  4. Prepare Scope of Work Documentation for project tasks and RFP packages.
  5. Strong knowledge of EPC project documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, piping, controls, etc.).
  6. Prepare engineering reports, technical datasheets, and project specifications.
  7. Develop and detail mechanical engineering designs.
  8. Site travel to job sites as required by project (50%).
  9. Liaise with customers and contractors to provide information and technical analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or similar with 5 years of experience.
  • Registered P.Eng certification an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Wastewater treatment, or Pulp & Paper industries and asset.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience working on EPC projects.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD mandatory, Solid works an asset.
  • Strong Project Management skills, PMP certification preferred.
  • Advanced use of Excel and MS Project to maintain updated project documentation.
