Job Summary

As a key member of the Northern Health Authority team, the Associate Physician Inpatient Clinical Care provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role involves working closely with Attending Physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients with acute, chronic, and complex illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical care to patients in acute care settings, including those with emergent conditions
- Work collaboratively with Attending Physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct history and physical examinations, order diagnostic studies, and administer medications as needed
- Participate in emergency and consultative call services as required

Requirements

- Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC in the Associate Physician - Acute class
- Canadian Citizenship, permanent residency, or the ability to live and work in British Columbia
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
