Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000, depending on experience.

Job Description:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and targeting an ideal client profile to efficiently populate the sales funnel with qualified accounts. Your primary goal will be to ensure expedited target achievement while working closely with our Canadian Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction through process improvements and efficient communication
  • Prepare proposals, consult on solutions, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop and maintain relationships with leads and customers via meetings, calls, and emails
  • Identify and resolve issues in active accounts, and drive adoption of products in dormant accounts
  • Participate in marketing programs and events, and provide account support and training on products
  • Travel as required

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding logistics space
  • Hunter mentality and someone who knows how to grow a book of business
  • Self-starter, can operate successfully with minimal supervision
  • Good communicator with a team player mentality, works well with internal teams
  • Hungry for growth and future career opportunities
  • Excellent planning and resource allocation skills
  • Work Permit
