Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, estimate timelines, and deliver projects on schedule.
  3. Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  4. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
  5. Contribute to process enhancements, automation, and the adoption of new technologies.

Requirements:

  1. 7+ years of experience in Java development
  2. Proven track record of delivering complex software projects
  3. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  4. Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  5. Experience with real-time systems and APIs (e.g., IBM MQ Series, RabbitMQ)
  6. Familiarity with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot)
  7. Knowledge of automated testing practices
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with ISO 20022 payment messaging standards
  2. Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements
  3. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  4. Relevant certifications (e.g., Java SE, Agile)


Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and partners in the United States. Proficiency in French is a valuable asset.
