Canteen Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Canteen Supervisor to lead our food service team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
• Ensure that the team has the necessary knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and maintain a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Basic security clearance.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
