Retail Store Manager

OHM CONVENIENCE INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
- Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit and develop a skilled team of sales associates, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Authorize Payments and Manage Inventory: Oversee the payment process, ensuring accurate and timely transactions, and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
- Sell Merchandise and Prepare Reports: Sell merchandise to customers, and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve Issues and Organize Inventory: Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner, and maintain accurate and organized inventory records.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of sales associates, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Provides Awareness Training: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Applies Inclusive Policies: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities and provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
