We are partnering with the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care to provide recruitment support to Continuing Care Employers across Nova Scotia. Our goal is to bring talented professionals on board to make a real difference in the lives of seniors.

About the Role

We are seeking well-rounded professionals to fill various positions in long-term care for Registered Nurses who have a passion for working with seniors, or with home nursing, where you will provide care to people of all ages in their homes and other community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of residents.
  • Administer direct nursing care and plan resident care in consultation from the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Administering and recording prescribed medication.

Home Care Responsibilities

  • Diabetes management
  • Dialysis
  • IV medications
  • Palliative care
  • Phlebotomy
  • Wound care

What We Offer

  • An estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Requirements

  • Current licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
